The symptoms of eating disorder vary with their types and they range from mild to life-threatening. Distorted body image is the most bewildered symptom of eating disorder.
Anorexia Nervosa
The symptoms of anorexia nervosa are thin appearance, fatigue, abnormal blood count, fainting, constipation, dry skin, brittle nails, low blood pressure, irregular heartbeats, menstrual irregularities, bone less, dehydration, loss of menstruation, and hair fall.
The emotional and behavioral symptoms of eating disorders are excessive exercise, preoccupation with food, difficulty in concentrating, refusal to eat, lack of emotion, and denial of hunger. Read the rest of this entry »
Allergic Reactions to Bell Peppers

Allergic reactions to bell peppers are rare, but potentially serious. About four percent of adults and a little more than five percent of children have some kind of food allergy. A specific bell pepper allergy exists in less than one percent of the population. In minor cases, symptoms of a bell pepper allergy are limited to itchiness and skin rashes. However, in severe cases it can lead to a serious reaction called anaphylaxis which can be lethal if left untreated.
An allergic reaction to bell peppers or foods that contain them occurs when the body treats some components of the food as it would an infection or some other foreign invader. Within an hour or two of consuming bell peppers, an allergic reaction begins to develop. Read the rest of this entry »
